1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and French Corner Desserts ("French Corner", "we", "us", or "our"). By visiting our website or downloading, installing, or ordering through our iOS or Android applications, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. User Accounts & Verification

To access features such as order placement, live tracking, and the Sweet Rewards loyalty club, you may register an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or your verified mobile number (via WhatsApp OTP).

• You must provide accurate and complete contact information.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account authentication tokens and device credentials.
• You must immediately notify French Corner of any unauthorized use or security breach concerning your account.

3. Ordering, Menus & Availability

All items listed on French Corner—including our signature baked cheesecakes, fudgy brownies, and Mediterranean baklava rolls—are handcrafted daily in limited batches.

• Order Confirmation: An order is deemed accepted only after successful payment verification (for online orders) or order verification (for Cash on Delivery).
• Daily Availability: While we strive to maintain inventory accuracy, certain items or flavors may sell out during peak evening demand. In the rare event an ordered item is unavailable, our bakery will contact you to offer an equivalent luxury substitute or issue an immediate refund.

4. Pricing, Payments & Delivery Fees

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹) and include applicable taxes unless specified otherwise.

• Payment Methods: We accept online payments via Razorpay (UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking) and Cash on Delivery (COD) within our delivery perimeter.
• Delivery Charges: Orders are eligible for Free Delivery above ₹200. Standard nominal delivery fees apply to orders below this threshold.

5. Delivery Operations & Cold Chain Handling

French Corner operates strict cold chain logistics to guarantee confectionery freshness:

• Delivery Hours: Doorstep delivery runs daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Takeaway pick-up is available from 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Cold Chain Protocol: Cheesecakes are packed in thermal protective packaging and chilled between 2°C and 4°C until delivered. Customers are advised to refrigerate cheesecakes immediately upon receipt.
• Delivery Accuracy: Please ensure your recipient mobile number and street address are entered accurately. French Corner cannot be held liable for delivery failures resulting from incorrect addresses or unreachable contact numbers.

6. Sweet Rewards Loyalty Program

French Corner operates the Sweet Rewards loyalty program:

• Earning Rate: Registered customers automatically earn 5% cashback points on the net product subtotal of every fulfilled order.
• Redemption: 1 Sweet Reward point = ₹1. Points can be redeemed directly in the Cart to discount future purchases.
• Validity: Points remain valid for 60 days from the date of issue. Points have no independent cash value, cannot be transferred to third-party accounts, and cannot be withdrawn as bank cash.
• Order Cancellation Reversal: If an order is cancelled or refunded, any cashback points credited for that order are automatically revoked.

7. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

All bakery products are perishable food items. Cancellation, return, and refund terms are governed by our dedicated Return & Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The French Corner name, logo, recipe formulas, photography, artwork, UI animations, and software code are the exclusive intellectual property of French Corner Desserts. Reproduction or unauthorized distribution without express written permission is strictly prohibited.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute or controversy arising out of or relating to our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
